Luke Combs‘ wife Nicole is opening up about her experience delivering their son Tex Lawrence, as well as her mental health.

In an Instagram Q&A with fans, Nicole says that her labor and delivery experience was “incredible,” praising all of the hospital staff including the nurses and doctors. “Everyone was amazing. Truly love the hospital I delivered at. Couldn’t have been more thankful for everyone,” she raves, adding that recovering from the birth was the most challenging part.

Fans also inquired about her mental health postpartum. “Thankfully I’ve been doing great physically & mentally,” she reports, thanking the many fans who have checked in. “You are truly the best people around.”

The topic of conversation also turned to music, particularly her favorite song off Luke’s new album, Growin’ Up. “Going, Going, Gone” she responds, noting that it’s “tough” to choose a favorite. As for other standouts in her husband’s catalogue, she reveals that the unreleased “5 Leaf Clover” is another “recent favorite.”

“Please go spam him and ask why it wasn’t on the album because I’m truly wondering????” she writes.

Luke and Nicole welcomed Tex on June 19, one week before Growin’ Up was released. It became the superstar’s third consecutive album to hit #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
