Ever wonder what it’s like to tag along on a big country star’s tour? Wonder no more: Maren Morris’ tour photographer, Rachel Deeb, is documenting the day-to-day process of being out on the road.
Over the course of two Instagram reels, Rachel walks fans through a typical day on the Humble Quest tour, beginning with her morning routine of climbing out of her third-floor bunk on the bus and eating a bowl of cereal.
“And you can’t use the bus water, so you always have to use water bottles,” Rachel explains as she narrates video footage of herself brushing her teeth.
That’s just one of the many surprising and not-always-so-glamorous parts of tour life that Rachel documents in her posts. In both reels, Rachel admits that she has “so much anxiety” at one part of the show, where Maren makes her way through a crowd of fans to go over to another special stage.
“But it’s okay because most of our after-show food is pizza, and sometimes even oysters if you’re lucky,” Rachel continues.
She goes on to document the crew’s weekend in Gilford, New Hampshire, which has “the best venue — I mean, we literally did 50 activities,” Rachel says, showing clips of the gang swimming at a lake, hanging in a game lounge and even playing pickleball.
Maren’s Humble Quest Tour will continue throughout the year, wrapping with a hometown show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on December 2.
