Luke Bryan, Keith Urban bid fond farewells to Ellen talk show during its final season

Comedian Ellen DeGeneres is ending her lengthy run as the host of Ellen, a talk show that many celebrities have been visiting since the very beginnings of their careers.

That includes two of country music’s biggest names: Keith Urban and Luke Bryan. Both are bidding their final farewell to Ellen’s couch this week and are feeling sentimental about the occasion.

For his part, Luke posted two snapshots on Twitter in which he’s posing with an early promotional picture for Ellen, including one where he’s kissing the image of Ellen’s face. “We’re all gonna miss you so much on our TVs,” he wrote in the caption. “Good luck on your next chapter.”

In his final appearance on the talk show, Keith not only serenaded Ellen with a rendition of his hit “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” but he also gifted her a guitar — complete with a letter written on its body — as a parting gift.

Ellen, which launched in 2003, is now in its final season.
