Simon Cowell is hoping to recreate the magic of One Direction.

The music mogul has a new show with Netflix, Simon Cowell: The Next Act, where he’ll try to find the next boy band superstars.

Simon helped launch the careers of One Direction and girl groups Little Mix and Fifth Harmony. He’s served as judge on a variety of music competition series, including Pop Idol, American Idol, The X Factor and The X Factor UK, and Britain’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent.

According to Tudum, the new unscripted series will give viewers “an even more intimate look at Cowell’s process and unparalleled ability to identify and foster talent.” The six-episode series will follow the process “from raw open casting calls to the release of the group’s debut single.”

Simon Cowell: The Next Act will debut on Netflix in December.

Bonnaroo will be back in 2026 after it was cut short in 2025.

Organizers have announced that the festival is set to return June 11-14 in its usual site in Manchester, Tennessee. They’ve also shared plans on how they’re updating the site to help deal with extreme weather, which forced three of the four planned 2025 days to be canceled.

“In the 2025/2026 off-season we’ll be dedicating an additional multi-million-dollar budget and initiating improvements that prioritize the campgrounds and other areas affected by the extreme weather in 2025,” reads a statement posted to the Bonnaroo Instagram. “Some of these projects will include reseeding the property, continuing to increase access roads within the campgrounds, adding more drainage and reinforcing primary water runoff pathways.”

The lineup and ticket info for Bonnaroo 2026 have yet to be announced. The 2025 bill included Queens of the Stone Age, Hozier, Vampire Weekend, Glass Animals, Megadeth and Avril Lavigne.

Jimmy Page has announced a new version of his signature Sundragon amp, the Nymph.

The updated amp is a smaller edition of the original Sundragon, which was inspired by the amp Page used on Led Zeppelin‘s 1969 debut album.

“The idea came to us that we should create a new amp that embodies the sonic qualities I cherish in my favorite amplifiers, but in a smaller package,” Page says. “One that would be suitable for playing at home, at levels that wouldn’t disturb the neighbors, while retaining the tonal characteristics of the larger amps I love.”

Page first tested out a Nymph prototype following his surprise appearance at the 2023 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, during which he performed the famed Link Wray instrumental “Rumble.”

“Despite the excitement and focus that comes with just having played, I was keen to try the amp out with my double-neck Gibson,” Page recalls. “I put it through its paces, searching for familiar tones with the 6-string neck, and smiled. Then came the ultimate test: would this amp be able to stand up to the challenge of reproducing the increased output of the 12-string guitar?”

“To my amazement, not only did it reproduce the 12-string sounds — it did so with flying colors,” he continues. “I just threw my hands up. I’ve got to tell you, that amplifier is absolutely extraordinary!”
