Blondie has been teasing a new album in the works since November, and it looks like we now have more information about the release.

press release announcing a special edition of the 2023 Z2 Comics graphic novel Blondie: Against the Odds reveals the title and time frame for the album, noting the graphic novel is coming “ahead of the spring 2026 release of Blondie’s new studio album HIGH NOON.

No other information on the album has been released.

Blondie founder Chris Stein first started teasing a new album in November, sharing a black-and-white photo of frontwoman Debbie Harry in the studio along with the caption, “New Blondie album next year.” He later revealed they were working with producer John Congleton, who produced their last album, 2017’s Pollinator.

In July, Stein also revealed in a post on X that the band’s late drummer Clem Burke, who died in April, played on the album.

As for Blondie: Against All Odds, an LCSD edition will be released on Sept. 27 to coincide with Local Comic Shop Day. The new edition, available exclusively at comic book stores across the country, will feature a new dust jacket with art from rising comic book illustrator Montos. There will also be an oversized deluxe edition that comes in a slipcase, available at Z2comics.com.

“One of the things that brought us all together as a band was comics and comic art,” says Harry. “No matter how you slice it, Blondie has its roots deep into the genre.”

The graphic novel includes what’s described as “a surreal and phantasmagoric interpretation of the oral history of the band,” and features artists and writers offering up illustrations and stories interpreting 15 of Blondie’s songs.

Teyana Taylor is hosting an exclusive livestream and screening Friday for her new short film, Escape Room

The event will take place at the Culver Theater and Amazon Music’s Culver City HQ, kicking off with a red carpet and wrapping up with a Q&A moderated by Lena Waithe. A press release for the event also notes there will be “special guests.”

The livestream will give fans a chance to watch the film, a visual representation of Teyana’s Escape Room album, which explores the human experience and more specifically a journey from heartbreak to healing, according to the release. It is also said to feature a few songs from the project.

Escape Room isn’t just a film or an album, it’s a world I built to live in, bleed in, and heal in,” Teyana says of her upcoming releases. “I poured my heart into every layer, from the story to the sound, to capture that journey we all take through the shadows of heartbreak, whether that’s love lost, friendships broken, dreams deferred and guide you toward the lightness of healing.”

“It’s the visual representation of my scars, the picture of my healing, and a mirror for anyone ready to face their own truth,” she continues. “This is more than a story… it’s a place to break free.”

The livestream begins Friday at 8 p.m. PT exclusively on the Amazon Music app and Twitch. It will be available to watch on Prime Video following the screening.

Sabrina Carpenter has been hosting private “play dates” for her new album, Man’s Best Friend, but if you’re not lucky enough to get invited to one of those, you’ll still be able to hear the album surrounded by like-minded fans, aka Carpenters.

Record stores across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia and the Netherlands will be holding Man’s Best Friend listening parties, starting on the release date, Aug. 29, and running throughout the weekend. She’s posted a list of participating stores on her Instagram, but you’ll have to contact the store nearest you for dates, times and details.

At each store you’ll be able to buy the album on colored vinyl that won’t be available anywhere else; some stores, like every branch of Newbury Comics across the U.S., are also offering prizes and giveaways. But don’t expect Sabrina to show up in person for these events — she won’t be there.

Coheed and Cambria has released a new version of their song “Goodbye, Sunshine,” featuring 311 frontman Nick Hexum.

The updated track is dubbed “Goodbye, Sunshine (Endless Summer)” and, befitting of its guest and title, has much more of a beachy, tropical vibe compared to the original. Coheed was inspired to rework the tune after performing a stripped down rendition of “Goodbye, Sunshine” during a radio performance.

“We enjoyed the version so much, we chose to explore it further by enlisting the help of 311’s Nick Hexum and dub producer The Scientist,” says frontman Claudio Sanchez.

“Goodbye, Sunshine (Endless Summer)” is accompanied by a video that references the past Coheed video for “A Favor House Atlantic” and the 1986 movie Club Paradise. You can watch that on YouTube.

The original “Goodbye, Sunshine” appears on Coheed’s new album, The Father of Make Believe, which dropped in March.

Coheed and Cambria is currently touring the U.S. in support of The Father of Make Believe alongside Taking Back Sunday.

Bon Jovi’s hit single “Livin’ on a Prayer” has just reached a new milestone.

The track, from the band’s #1 album Slippery When Wet, has just passed 2 billion streams on Spotify.

The band reacted to the news on Instagram, sharing a message to fans that read, “Your continued support and love for our music means the world. Thank you!”

“Livin’ on a Prayer” is the first Bon Jovi song to reach 2 billion streams, although two others have made it to Spotify’s Billions Club with 1 billion streams: “You Give Love a Bad Name,” also from 1986’s Slippery When Wet, and “It’s My Life,” from 2000’s Crush.

Released in October 1986, “Livin’ on a Prayer” was written by Jon Bon JoviRichie Sambora and Desmond Child and became Bon Jovi’s second single to reach #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, following “You Give Love a Bad Name.”

Brandy and Monica nearly argue over Dunkin’s Cereal ‘N Milk Latte in a new ad promoting the brand’s latest drink. The two are spotted in a dressing room as they attempt to figure out the owner of the one drink on the table.

“This is mine, right?” Brandy asks, to which Monica responds, “I gotta be honest, I thought it was mine.” “Not yours,” Brandy claps back. “But mine,” Monica says, grabbing the drink from Brandy.

Brandy puts an end to the back-and-forth, deciding not to go down the same path they did years ago on their 1998 song “The Boy is Mine.”

“We are not doing this again – can someone get us a Cereal ‘N Milk Latte please?” asks the “Full Moon” singer, who is immediately given another latte from someone off camera.

“When two great things come together, it’s harmony,” Monica says.

The new Cereal ‘N Milk Latte, which blends espresso with cereal milk and a marshmallow flavor, is now available nationwide.

It arrives ahead of Brandy and Monica’s co-headlining The Boy Is Mine tour, which is set to kick off in October.

“The song was such a monumental song and so many people loved it, but it just never just seemed like it was the right time. But now coming together all of these years later, it just seems like this is the perfect time,” Brandy tells People of their upcoming outing.

Monica teases the trek will be filled with surprises, as they “aren’t sharing any details about it.”

“One of the things that is so sorely missed … you don’t get the chance to just be genuinely surprised like you used to back in the ’90s,” she said. “That was something that was always a plus because you didn’t know what to expect, so you were so happy as you were experiencing it.”

Jack White dubbed ‘has-been loser’ by White House communications director

Jack White has joined Bruce Springsteen in the club of rockers who’ve been insulted by the Donald Trump administration.

While The Boss was labeled a “jerk” and “highly overrated” by the president, White House communications director Steven Cheung deems the “Seven Nation Army” rocker a “has-been loser” in a statement to The Daily Beast.

Cheung’s remarks come in response to a recent Instagram post by White in which he criticized Trump’s gold-plated makeover of the White House.

“Look at how disgusting trump has transformed the historic White House,” White wrote. “It’s now a vulgar, gold leafed and gaudy, professional wrestler’s dressing room.”

Cheung says in his statement, “Jack White is a washed up, has-been loser posting drivel on social media because he clearly has ample time on his hands due to his stalled career.”

“It’s apparent he’s been masquerading as a real artist, because he fails to appreciate, and quite frankly disrespects, the splendor and significance of the Oval Office inside of ‘The People’s House,'” Cheung adds.

We’re guessing White won’t mind drawing the ire of the current White House, as he’s long been critical of Trump. During his 2016 campaign, White’s Third Man Records began selling a T-shirt reading “Icky Trump,” a play on the White Stripes song “Icky Thump.”

As for his alleged stalled career, White’s spent much of 2025 touring behind his latest solo album, No Name, which spawned the #1 Billboard Alternative Airplay single “That’s How I’m Feeling.”
