Sombr‘s fall tour has expanded its capacity. The singer explained on Instagram Wednesday, “I know a lot of you weren’t able to get tickets for the North America tour, so we did everything in our power to upgrade every show we were able to … no dates have changed, just some of the venues have gotten bigger.” The tickets for the bigger venues went on sale Thursday morning and sold out immediately.

Lola Young is offering a special edition of her upcoming album, I’m Only F****** Myself, with an extra song on it. She said on Instagram, “I wrote this song ‘Blisters’ a couple months back, it captures how I felt that day. … It’s raw and honest and I hope you like it.” You can buy it now via Lola’s online store.

The lineups for the 2026 editions of Lollapalooza’s Chile, Argentina and Brazil festivals have been revealed. Among the headliners for all three festivals: Sabrina Carpenter, Lewis Capaldi, Chappell Roan, Lorde and  Doechii.

After Chappell Roan posted footage of herself performing “Barracuda” by the band Heart at England’s Reading Festival, she heard from one of its founding members — but not for the reason you’d think. While Chappell slayed the vocals on the song, Heart co-founder and guitarist Nancy Wilson was more focused on her outfit, writing, “Amazing lewk!”

Meawhile, Demi Lovato also heard from an artist she covered on Instagram. On her birthday Aug. 20, she sang karaoke to “Defying Gravity” from Wicked. Star Cynthia Erivo wrote in the comments, “The happiest of birthdays to you, my darling!” Demi then posted a Reel captioned, “when THE elphaba comments on your defying gravity cover” and lip-synched to the TikTok sound, “Do you ever wish you were not famous and can live an ordinary life? I’ll be honest with you: no.”

It appears that the collaboration between Spiritbox‘s Courtney LaPlante, Evanescence‘s Amy Lee and Poppy has a title.

All three artists have shared a teaser video titled “End of You.” Depending on who posted it, the clip starts with a closeup of either LaPlante, Lee or Poppy as you hear a lyric that sounds like, “‘Cause the end of you is the start of life for me.”

The trio hinted at the collaboration Tuesday with a photo of them standing beside each other, all sporting dark hair.

LaPlante and Poppy already made headlines earlier in 2025 when they were confused for each other during a Grammy red carpet interview.

As a vegan, Joan Jett doesn’t want to get a “Bad Reputation” for eating pizza with cheese made from dairy. So that’s why she’s demanding that Domino’s finally get with the program and add vegan cheese to its menu.

Jett sent a letter on PETA’s behalf to Russell J. Weiner, the CEO of Domino’s, ahead of her performance Thursday night at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan. The venue is about 90 minutes from the company’s headquarters in Ann Arbor.

In her letter, Jett points out that Domino’s in other countries already have vegan cheese on their menus, as do other U.S. chains.

“I’ve played a lot of shows in Michigan, and one thing that always hits the spot is a good slice of pizza,” Jett wrote. “That’s why my friends at PETA and I are asking Domino’s, while I’m right here in your own backyard, to turn up the volume and finally add dairy-free cheese to your U.S. menu.”

“Pizza should be for everyone. More and more folks are ditching dairy, as I did years ago, for their health, allergies, or because they don’t want to support cruelty,” she continued. “Vegan cheese today is gooey, melty, and every bit as satisfying. It deserves a place on Domino’s pizzas across America.”

Jett concludes, “It’s time for Domino’s in the U.S. to catch up and give people what they’re asking for. Music brings people together, and so does pizza. Let’s make sure no one is left out when it’s time to share a pie.”

Ed Sheeran raises more than $1 million for charity by selling his splatter paintings

In addition to being a singer, songwriter and occasional actor, Ed Sheeran is a literal artist: He creates paintings by splattering colorful house paint all over large canvases. Now he’s announced that his first-ever show of those paintings has raised well over 1 million bucks for charity.

Ed announced earlier this summer that he’d been asked by a gallery to exhibit his work, but he wanted all the money he made from sales of the paintings to go to his foundation, which supports music education in the U.K. The Cosmic Carpark Paintings show opened in July, and Ed has revealed it was quite successful.

Ed wrote on Instagram, “When I started painting, I only did it for fun and to give to friends. When [a gallery] approached me to put some work in an exhibition, I said I would only do it if my proceeds could go to my music foundation, coz I loved the idea of art funding art.”

“After 6 weeks of the exhibition being up, we’ve sold all the paintings, and a lot of prints / merch. We’ve raised $1.25M usd from it all, which will do absolutely incredible things for the youth in UK,” he continued. “I’m so grateful to HENI [Gallery] for giving me a platform and a space to create and exhibit.”

He concluded, “[T]hank you to everyone who came down to the show to see my paintings. All we raised will go a long way to bring the arts to everyone, all over Britain.”

It’s like MTV Unplugged crossed with VH1 Storytellers— with some new technology added in.

Words + Music, a new TV series based on the Audible audio series of the same name, is coming to MGM+ Nov. 30 and John Legend is among the featured artists.

Like Unplugged and Storytellers, each episode will feature artists sharing the stories behind their most iconic songs, followed by performances of those songs, either solo or with a band. There will also be an immersive video experience, courtesy of a stage that includes a 79-by-80-foot LED screen and 105 motion capture cameras, according to a press release.

As the artists tell their stories, they’ll be surrounded by “dynamic visual narratives”: the environment around them will “transform to reflect each anecdote and song,” the release says.

The show is being produced by Gunpowder and Sky, the studio run by Van Toffler, the former president of MTV Networks. Toffler says, “The result is something as intimate as a backstage confession and as cinematic as a feature film. These aren’t just stories about iconic songs – they’re portraits of how those songs, and the artists behind them came to be.”

Other artists featured in the episodes are Elvis CostelloSheryl Crow and Alanis Morissette.

Lady A‘s Charles Kelley played a rare solo show Wednesday night at Nashville’s famed Exit/In.

Forever grateful for this album and the people who have been along this journey with me.”

As you might expect, his bandmate Hillary Scott is a fan.

“It was SUCH a fun night!” she commented. “It sounded amazing and we loved watching you live out your 80s music-loving dreams.”

Hillary’s referring to Charles’ second solo album, Songs for a New Moon, which spawned his adult contemporary hit “Can’t Lose You” and is a tip of the hat to the decade, even including a cover of Cyndi Lauper‘s “Time After Time.”

Charles does have one more solo gig coming up: He’ll play Y Live at Wean Park in Youngstown, Ohio, Sept. 26 alongside John Mayer.

Lady A’s On this Winter’s Night (Volume 2) arrives that same day, followed by their first Christmas tour, which kicks off Dec. 5 in Atlanta.

Longtime Breaking Benjamin drummer Shaun Foist has announced that he’s stepping away from touring due to health issues.

Foist explains in a Facebook post that he’s been dealing with Hashimoto’s disease, an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid gland, since 2017, leading to “fatigue, leg weakness, stiffness, weight changes, and overall drum playing control issues.”

During Breaking Benjamin’s Awaken the Fallen tour with Staind over the spring, Foist says he was “experiencing extreme leg fatigue and complications, making drumming nearly impossible.”

“We ran tests on my back that came out fine thankfully, but tests confirmed Hashimoto’s had flared, pushing my thyroid into ‘hyper mode,’ causing weakness and weight loss,” Foist writes. “After speaking with my family and doctors, I’ve decided to step away from the road at this time to focus on healing.”

Foist’s announcement comes just as Breaking Benjamin is set to launch a U.S. tour with Three Days Grace Friday in Ridgedale, Missouri. He’ll be replaced by Asking Alexandria drummer James Cassells for the trek.

“Please continue supporting the band and enjoying the shows,” Foist writes. “I care deeply about our legacy, and I don’t want my health to affect performances.”

Alongside Foist’s statement, Breaking Benjamin adds, “We are thankful to [Foist] for all the years of playing with us and being a part of the Breaking Benjamin family.”

Foist has played in Breaking Benjamin since 2014, when frontman Benjamin Burnley rebooted the band with all new members.
