Portugal. The Man has premiered a new song called “Denali.”
The track refers to the Alaska mountain, federally designated as Mount McKinley, which is the highest mountain peak in North America.
Portugal. The Man previously announced their Denali U.S. tour, kicking off in November.
“It’s the name of a mountain, twenty-thousand feet high, 6 million years old,” the “Feel It Still” band said at the time. “Some things are bigger than the present, steadier than feelings: certain, defiant, unmovable, clear. Maybe—maybe— music is one of the [sic] too.”
The most recent Portugal. The Man album is 2023’s Chris Black Saved My Life. They put out a single called “V.I.S.” in April.

Now that they’re Rock & Roll Hall of Famers you’d think Foreigner would be too big to play a wedding, but apparently that’s not the case. It seems the group may be interested in taking on the gig for newly engaged couple Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
Foreigner offered up their services in “an open letter” to the couple on Instagram. “Dear Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, we know what love is. We spent 40 years figuring it out … and now you guys have it too,” reads the message. It’s a reference to the band’s biggest hit, “I Want to Know What Love Is,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 in February 1985.
“Please accept this as our formal offer to be your wedding band,” the message continues. “Best wishes, Foreigner.”
If Foreigner, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, did perform at the wedding, they could inspire plenty of couples to hit the dance floor with their romantic hits, such as “Waiting for a Girl Like You,” “Feels Like the First Time” and “I Don’t Want to Live Without You.” They could also get the crowd going with their more upbeat rockers, like “Hot Blooded,” “Jukebox Hero” and “Double Vision.”
Your move, Taylor and Travis.
In the meantime, Foreigner will be pretty busy on the road. They are playing a special fundraising show in Brookville, New York, on Friday and an anniversary concert on Ellis Island on Saturday, which will be filmed for a documentary. Their tour picks up again on Sept. 11 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A complete list of date can be found at Foreigneronline.com.
CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD – “Normani vs Michelle Buteau and Andy Richter vs Jason Ritter” (Disney/Wilford Harewood)
Normani is helping to kick off the 2025 NFL season with the You Better Believe It campaign. She appears in a clip in front of a crowd of football fans and performs the hook for “Ride the Float,” a remix of Quad City DJ‘s “C’mon ‘N Ride It (Train).” The song takes on the melody of the original, instead replacing the word “train” with “float.”
“Being part of the NFL Kickoff commercial is such a monumental and personal moment for me,” Normani said in a statement, according to Billboard. “I cannot remember a time when football was not a huge part of my household growing up, so now that I’m part of an NFL campaign, it means the world to my family.”
Normani rocks the #4 Pittsburgh Steelers jersey in the ad, representing her fiancé, DK Metcalf. Rizzler dons a New York Giants jersey, and comedian Druski puts on for the Miami Dolphins.
“I’ve always been an NFL fan, so getting the chance to be part of this season’s Kickoff campaign was a no-brainer,” Druski said in a statement, according to Billboard.
The 2025 NFL season kicks off Thursday night with a game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.

For Morrissey, The Smiths may indeed be a light that’s gone out.
Moz has taken to his Morrissey Central website to “offer for sale all of his business interests in ‘The Smiths’ to any interested party/investor.”
Said sale would apparently include rights to the name “The Smiths,” all Morrissey-created Smiths artwork, merchandising, publishing and synchronization.
“I am burnt out by any and all connections to Marr, Rourke, Joyce,” Morrissey writes, referring to Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, late bassist Andy Rourke and drummer Mike Joyce. “I have had enough of malicious associations. With my entire life I have paid my rightful dues to these songs and these images. I would now like to live disassociated from those who wish me nothing but ill-will and destruction, and this is the only resolution.”
“The songs are me – they are no one else – but they bring with them business communications that go to excessive lengths to create as much dread and spite year after year,” the singer continues. “I must now protect myself, especially my health.”
If you’re a “serious investor,” you’re instructed to contact eaves7760@gmail.com.
The Smiths released four albums over their brief but hugely impactful run from 1982 to 1987. Morrissey and Marr have remained estranged since the band broke up.
In 2024, Morrissey claimed that he’d accepted a “lucrative offer” to reunite The Smiths, but Marr “ignored” it. Marr later clarified that he flatly turned down the offer.

Blondie is revisiting their 1999 comeback album No Exit with a new reissue.
No Exit Deluxe Edition will include a remastered version of the original album, which featured the hit “Maria,” along with remixes and new liner notes. The set will also include the bonus track “Hot Shot,” which was previously only available in Japan. The reissue drops Oct. 31.
“Hot Shot” is available now via digital outlets, featuring a new mix by producer David Wrench.
The deluxe edition also includes all new packaging, created by the original album’s photographer and creative director, Rob Roth.
No Exit Deluxe Edition will be released digitally and in two-CD, two-LP black vinyl and two-LP crystal glass clear configurations. This will mark the first time the album’s available on vinyl. All formats are available for preorder now.
Released in February 1999, No Exit was Blondie’s first album after a 17-year hiatus, reuniting band members Debbie Harry, Chris Stein, Clem Burke and Jimmy Destri. The album was a top-20 hit in the U.S. and peaked at #3 in the U.K., with the song “Maria” hitting #1 in the U.K. The track was also a top-10 hit on the U.S.dance charts.
And Blondie is still making music. The band is getting ready to release a new album, High Noon. So far there’s no word on when it will be released, but a recent press release announcing a special edition of the 2023 graphic novel Blondie: Against the Odds reported it was coming in “spring 2026.”

Limp Bizkit is teasing a new song with an assist from Kristina Rybalchenko, who’s known for her viral drum videos.
Rybalchenko has posted an Instagram video of her playing along to the upcoming track, in which frontman Fred Durst declares, among other things, “When you’re hot, you’re hot/ When you’re not, you’re not.”
The clip then cuts to Durst entering the room and saying, “Kristina, that’s our new song, it’s not out yet. How did you get that?”
“Please don’t put it on the internet,” he winkingly pleads.
Limp Bizkit released their latest album, Still Sucks, in 2021, which marked their first new record in 10 years. The band teased they were back in the studio in April.

Russell Dickerson‘s already stepped in the wrestling ring — at least metaphorically — with his ongoing Russellmania Tour, and now he’s about to show off his baseball skills.
He’s one of the stars set to play in The Lucky Classic Celebrity Softball Game Nov. 16 at Nashville’s First Horizon Park.
It’s put on by the Burger Family Foundation, which was organized by Texas Rangers’ infielder Jake Burger and his wife, Ashlyn Burger, and inspired by their daughter Penelope Burger, who was diagnosed with Down syndrome.
“Ashlyn and I couldn’t be more excited to bring The Lucky Classic to Nashville this off-season,” Jake says. “This city is home for us, and we wanted to create something that blends our two worlds, music and baseball, while giving back to a community we love.”
Ashley Cooke and Tucker Wetmore are already on board, along with more than 20 MLB All-Stars, like Corey Seager, Brent Rooker, Brandon Lowe and Bryan Reynolds.
Tickets are on sale now, with more talent additions still to come.
