Hayley Williams‘ debut solo tour is getting even larger.

The Paramore frontwoman has announced a batch of additional dates to the 2026 trek, including extra shows in Atlanta, Toronto, New York City, Minneapolis, Chicago, Nashville, Austin, Oakland and Los Angeles, as well as new stops in Baltimore and Silver Spring, Maryland.

As with the previously announced shows, tickets to the new dates will go on sale using the platform Openstage in an effort to, as Williams says, “get tickets into the hands of my fans, at a price that is as reasonable as I could get it.”

The registration window for the sale, which was originally scheduled to close Tuesday at 10 a.m. ET, has been extended to Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET. Those who register will need to verify their email and phone number before receiving a unique, non-transferable unlock code for a chance at tickets when they go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. local time.

“If you’ve already signed up for a show in or near these cities, you do not need to sign up again,” Williams says. “Your code will work for the added shows (including the two Maryland dates).”

For the full list of dates, visit HayleyWilliams.net.

The tour will support Williams’ new solo album, Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party. She’d originally planned her debut solo tour for 2020 behind her Petals for Armor album, but it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lynyrd Skynyrd is paying tribute to our nation’s veterans with the Veterans Day release of a new live video.

The clip is for the track “Red White and Blue” featuring 38 Special founding member Donnie Van Zant. Donnie is the brother of Skynyrd’s current frontman Johnny Van Zant and their original frontman Ronnie Van Zant, who died in the 1977 plane crash that also killed Skynyrd guitarist Steve Gaines and four others.

The performance appears on the live album and DVD, Celebrating 50 Years – Live At The Ryman, which was released in June. It captures Skynyrd’s 50th anniversary concert, which took place in November 2022 and was the final concert of Skynyrd founding guitarist Gary Rossington, who passed away in March 2023.

In addition to Donnie Van Zant, the album features guest appearances by Jelly Roll, Brent Smith of the rock band Shinedown, country star John Osborne of Brothers Osborne and Marcus King.

Early Mariah Carey demo tape going on the auction block

This year, all you want for Christmas is the ultimate Mariah Carey collectible — and if you have deep pockets, you may just have a shot at buying it.

A rare early demo recording of Mariah’s is going on the auction block starting Dec. 2 at 3 p.m. ET via Wax Poetics, a collectibles marketplace. Bidding closes on Dec. 11. The tape comes from legendary producer and remixer Arthur Baker, who explains in a video that he got the tape when he attended a 1989 record release party in New York City thrown by a bunch of music execs.

At the party, pop singer Brenda K. Starr, best known for her 1988 ballad “I Still Believe,” approached Baker and said her background singer, a then-unknown Mariah, had a great demo tape for which she’d written all the songs. She handed the tape to Baker, and after the party was over, Baker, Brenda and Mariah all went over to Baker’s studio to listen to it.

“I stick the cassette in and the first three songs are all hits,” Baker says in the video. “And I’m thinking, ‘Holy s*** … it’s Madonna meets Whitney [Houston]. She writes like Madonna, sounds like Whitney. I’m thinking, ‘This is it, I’ve discovered gold.’”

Then, Baker remembered that at the party, another one Mariah’s demo tapes had ended up in the possession of music exec Tommy Mottola. Despite his best efforts, Baker was unable to get a deal together in time to stop Mottola from signing Mariah — and the rest is history.

There are seven songs in all on the tape, and according to Wax Poetics, they include “unreleased and early versions of what would become hits” on Mariah’s 1990 debut album. Visit WaxPoetics.com for more information.

The Star of the Show has arrived.

Dolly Parton‘s final volume in her trilogy of books is out now, recapping her life as a performer onstage. The series started with Storyteller, which focused on her songwriting, and continued with Behind the Seams, which stitched together her life in fashion.

“I’m so proud that I’ve been able to spend the last 70 plus years doing what I feel I was born to do: singing, writing, and performing,” she reflects. “Even prouder that I’ve been able to do it with and for my fans.”

Star of the Show: My Life on Stage borrows its name from the opening track of Dolly’s 1979 Great Balls of Fire album.

It’s also available in a deluxe edition that comes with gilded pages and an alternate cover, as well as an audiobook featuring Dolly herself telling the stories on which the book is based.
