Parmalee claims the fifth #1 of their career as “Cowgirl” arrives at the top of Billboard‘s Country Airplay chart.

“Words can’t describe how excited we are to see Cowgirl sitting at #1!” the band shared on its socials. “We all had a gut feeling about this song and believed in it from day one[.] It’s been great to see it connect and grow with our fans as well as others who are just now hearing it.”

Parmalee most recently made it to the top when “Gonna Love You” made it to #1 in December 2024. Previously, the band topped the chart with “Just the Way” with Blanco Brown, “Take My Name” and “Carolina,” which became their first #1 in December 2013.

“There’s still nothing like hearing your song on the RADIO!!” the band closed their Instagram post. “And to our fans, you guys are the reason these songs do what they do. Thanks for sharing it with your friends, making your videos, turning it up when it comes on and most importantly, singing it back to us every night!! Love Yall!!”

Parmalee recently released their new track, “How Do I Let You Go,” their first new music since their Fell in Love with a Cowgirl EP came out in April.

21 Savage has one question on his mind: What Happened to the Streets? It’s a question he’ll likely answer on his new album, which he announced will be arriving on Friday.

He shared the news via a black-and-white trailer on Instagram, which begins with a person walking down an alley. Men armed with guns appear to point their guns toward him, as his life literally flashes before our eyes. Bits and pieces of his life, including him in the womb and as infant, are shown on the screen, before the name and release date appear.

The cover art was created by British-Nigerian artist Slawn, the man behind the 20-foot art installation that featured 21’s face and made its way to various art fairs, museums and more during Art Basel in Miami.

What Happened to the Streets?, according to Apple Music, is made up of 14 songs. Four CD covers and 2,100 numbered prints are now available for preorder on 21’s webstore.

How Santa tried to turn Riley Green into a drummer

It would make a great country music story if Riley Green‘s favorite Christmas present paved the way for the flourishing career he has now.

And while the Alabama native did ask Santa for a musical instrument growing up, he admits it didn’t really go anywhere.

“You know, I feel like a guitar should have been like the gift that I got that really worked out,” he reflects. “But I got a drum set one time and that one I was really excited about.”

“It didn’t pan out and I think my parents hated it,” he adds. “But that was the one that I was the most fired up about.”

Riley’s sole holiday song at this point is “Christmas to Me,” which he performed on this year’s CMA Country Christmas special on ABC. If you missed it, you can stream the show now on Hulu.
