Pink Floyd’s love of soccer memorialized in new merch collection

Pink Floyd and Sony Italy have teamed with soccer club Inter Milan for a new merch line celebrating the 50th anniversary of the band’s iconic album Wish You Were Here.

The collection includes a T-shirt, jersey, tote bag, picks and more, as well as a limited-edition anthem jacket, which will be worn by players during the pre-match of Inter vs Cagliari on Friday. The jacket features exclusive Inter x Pink Floyd patches.

While the collaboration may seem out of the ordinary, it turns out the band — David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Nick Mason and Richard Wright — started their own club, the Pink Floyd Football Club (PFFC), in the 1970s, where they would play alongside members of their staff, crew and journalists.

The collection was inspired by a photo of the PFFC club taken by photographer Kim Gottlieb-Walker, which was shared on Instagram alongside the announcement.

Nashville notes: Flatland Cavalry’s ‘Unglued’ video + Russell Dickerson’s ‘Wild’ concert

Flatland Cavalry’s just released their new music video for “Unglued,” on the heels of their third consecutive nomination for ACM group of the year. It’s from their new album, Work of Heart, which came out in March.

Country Thunder Florida is moving to Coachman Park in Clearwater in 2026, with Zach Top, Gavin Adcock and Kane Brown set to headline the May 8-10 event that includes Randy Houser, Max McNown, Shaboozey, Dasha and more. Though it’s located less than 20 miles from the original location on St. Pete Beach, ticket holders who’d like a refund can get one at the point of purchase.

You can check out a new live performance video of Russell Dickerson’s latest hit, “Worth Your Wild,” on Spotify, recorded at his largest show to date at RodeoHouston March 5.

The Monkees’ ‘Good Times!’ to be reissued for band’s 60th anniversary

The 60th anniversary of The Monkees is being celebrated with an expanded edition of the band’s 2016 studio album, Good Times!

Good Times! (10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition), dropping May 29, will include the original album, plus previously unreleased instrumental versions of each song and four rare session outtakes.

Released to commemorate the band’s 10th anniversary, Good Times! reunited then-surviving Monkees members Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith and Peter Tork, and featured a posthumous contribution from Davy Jones, who passed away in 2012.

“Working on Good Times! was an extraordinary experience. None of us could have imagined that nearly 50 years after our last Top 20 record, we’d be back there again with a new Monkees album. That means a lot,” says Dolenz, who is the last surviving member of The Monkees. “Mike, Peter, and I had a wonderful time making that record, and I have no doubt Davy’s spirit was right there with us. We really did have a good time.”

The reissue will be released as a two-CD set, and digitally for the first time. It will also be released as part of Rhino Reserve’s audiophile vinyl series.

Good Times! featured songs written specifically for the group by artists like Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo, Death Cab for Cutie’s Ben Gibbard, Oasis’ Noel Gallagher and more. It also featured older material penned by artists like Carole King, Neil Diamond and Harry Nilsson. The album peaked at #14 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.

Reba McEntire spends ‘One Night in Tulsa’ to kick off new music series

There’s new music on the way from Reba McEntire, and the Country Music Hall of Famer’s delivering it in a new way.

Each month, she’ll unveil a new digital music capsule that pairs a new song with tracks from her catalog that match the same theme.

The first arrives Friday and is titled One Night in Tulsa, named for a new track she previewed at her April 9 show at her restaurant, Reba’s Place, in Atoka, Oklahoma. Her cover of “Tulsa Time,” her hit with Vince Gill, “Oklahoma Swing,” “Does the Wind Still Blow in Oklahoma” and “No U in Oklahoma” wrap up the collection.

There will also be new tailored playlists that highlight her half-century recording career, starting May 1 with The Making of Reba.

Meghan Trainor says Ashley Tisdale apologized to her for ‘toxic mom group’ essay

After Ashley Tisdale made headlines with her essay about leaving her “toxic mom group,” fans suspected she was talking about a group that included several other celebrities, including Meghan Trainor. Now, Meghan’s giving her side of the story.

In an interview with US Weekly, Meghan says she accepts some of the responsibility for how Ashley felt. “I was a bad mom friend. I never went. They had so many events; they were awesome and always there for each other,” she says. “There was a group chat, but eventually they started a group chat without me because I wasn’t there … and that was totally fine. I didn’t feel bad.”

“The last time I saw them was like a year ago, and I brought them to dinner and paid for it because I was like, ‘I’m so sorry that I’m just not present,'” she continues. “And then that [story] popped up, and I was like, ‘What?!?’ I saw my face everywhere, and ‘wait a second, I’m not even there.'”

Meghan notes that it “felt so bad” for the other moms in the group who aren’t famous. And, she says, “I felt bad for Ashley, that she was ever that sad. I think it was just a lot of miscommunication and confusion. I don’t really know what happened, but I wish them all the best.”

And, Meghan says, “Ashley texted me, ‘I’m sorry, your name got dragged in.’ And I was like, ‘It’s all right, girl. The world’s a silly, crazy place, and they just want something to talk about.’”

But mother of three Meghan has advice for moms who are struggling.

“Always ask for help,” she says. “I can’t do it all. I wish I could, and I can’t.”

They’re going to be friends: Jack White hangs with Timothée Chalamet at Coachella

Jack White made a new friend at Coachella: Timothée Chalamet.

The “Seven Nation Army” rocker posted a photo of himself hanging backstage at the festival alongside the Dune actor on Instagram.

“You can’t be mad when a young Bob Dylan time travels to come see your set,” White writes in the caption, referring to Chalamet’s Oscar-nominated performance as the folk icon in 2024’s A Complete Unknown.

“So nice hanging out with Mr. Chalamet in the desert, who did such an amazing job in A Complete Unknown,” White adds.

Perhaps White and Chalamet swapped stories about playing music legends in movies — White, of course, portrayed Elvis Presley in the 2007 film Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story.

White was a last-minute addition to the Coachella weekend one lineup. While there, he also hung with Muse’s Matt Bellamy and The Strokes’ Albert Hammond Jr. and Cameron Winter of Geese.

White will launch a U.S. headlining tour in July.

INXS to be honored for their contribution to Australian music

INXS is set to receive a prestigious honor in their native Australia.

The band — brothers Andrew, Jon and Tim Farriss, Garry Beers, Kirk Pengilly and late frontman Michael Hutchence — is set to receive the Ted Albert Award for Outstanding Services to Australian Music at the 2026 APRA Music Awards.

The press release announcing the honor notes, “INXS are not just part of Australia’s musical history — they helped write the global playbook.”

“INXS are truly one-of-a-kind,” Jenny Morris, chair of APRA, says. “From their compelling and timeless songwriting to their intoxicating performances, few bands have ever left people happily gasping for more the way INXS do.”

She adds, “Michael is as much of a presence in our lives today as the day we lost him, and of course the same goes for the band,” noting, “The legacy of INXS lives on. They remain as relevant as ever, continuing to inspire new generations and bring that unmistakable Aussie spirit to fans around the world.”

Formed in Sydney in 1977, INXS has sold over 75 million albums worldwide. Their breakthrough album, 1987’s Kick, peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart and produced four top-10 singles: “Need You Tonight,” “New Sensation,” “Never Tear Us Apart” and “Devil Inside.”

The 2026 APRA Music Awards will be held April 29 in Sydney.

Keith Urban rides ACM’s Next Wave as Whiskey Jam heads for Vegas

Keith Urban will headline ACM Next Wave: Country’s Beach Bash on Saturday, May 16, ahead of the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday.

He joins the previously announced lineup of Tucker Wetmore, Dasha, Ashley Cooke, Flatland Cavalry and Braxton Keith, as well as 2026 Opry NextStage members Hudson Westbrook, Vincent Mason, Graham Barham, Tyler Braden, Emily Ann Roberts, Alexandra Kay and Willow Avalon.

Tickets are on sale now for the poolside show at Mandalay Bay Beach, in addition to the other ACM events in Las Vegas.

If you’re looking for a free show, you’ll want to check out the Whiskey Jam Welcome Party set for Thursday, May 14. The Band Perry, Avery Anna, Caroline Jones and Jenna Paulette will take the stage at Ole Red, with more talent to be announced.

KATSEYE is going ‘WILD’ in August

KATSEYE is gonna go WILD this summer.

The group will release their third EP, WILD, on Aug. 14. It’s the follow-up to their 2025 EP, BEAUTIFUL CHAOS. WILD is now available for preorder.

Presumably, the group’s new single, “PINKY UP,” will be included on the EP. They gave the song its live debut at Coachella on April 10, and will likely play it again Friday. They’re doing a live Q&A with their fans about “PINKY UP” and their new music on Weverse Thursday at 7 p.m. ET.

It’s notable that the group’s Instagram video announcing the new EP only included five members. Fans are still curious about the status of the group’s sixth member, Manon Bannerman, who took a hiatus for her mental health. Manon doesn’t appear in the “PINKY UP” video, either.

In addition to Coachella, KATSEYE are performing at New York’s Governors Ball in June, the Hinterland Music Festival in July and the 88 Rising Festival: Head In The Clouds in August.

Tyler Perry to be honored at 2026 Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards

Tyler Perry will be recognized at the 2026 Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards. He will receive the Innovator Award, given “to an individual who has transformed a specific genre of the entertainment industry” and demonstrated “longevity and consistency in their field,” according to a press release.

Tyler is set to accept the honor at the ceremony on June 5 in Los Angeles. 2023 Icon Award recipient Babyface will return as musical director, while Tiffany Haddish will host for her fifth year despite previously stating that 2025 would be her last time leading the show.

The event will also feature special performances, an intimate dinner and an after-party. Proceeds will benefit the Hollywood Cares Foundation, which supports underserved youth in Black and Brown communities through leadership, civic engagement and personal development programs.

More honorees will be announced at a later date.
