Jennifer Lopez’s The JLo Show residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas is now underway, and she says that it finds her in what she calls her “happy era.”

Speaking with ABC News’ Juju Chang in an interview that aired Wednesday on ABC’s Good Morning America, JLo said, “I’m in my happy era. I think for the first time in my life, I feel like I’m free. I am on my own. And it feels really good.”

She continued, “I didn’t really know what that felt like since I was in my early 20s. And even before that, you know, I’ve always had a boyfriend. There was always kind of, like, someone in my life and so many other things that I felt like were out of my control, and I just am at a point in my life … where I really trust myself.”

The residency is structured in four parts, and features the entertainer performing reimagined versions of her songs backed by a full orchestra. It also incorporates elements of Broadway, her first love as a performer.

“It’s a celebration,” Lopez said of the show. “That life is so precious. And, you know, even my kids going off to college now, it goes so quickly, and it’s like … you have to cherish and live every single moment.”

Ultimately, Lopez said she hopes audiences leave the show with a simple lesson.

“It’s definitely ‘Get up no matter what happens and dance again,'” she said. “Because you will … life kind of will throw things at you, but dance. Keep dancing, keep finding the joy in every moment, in every day. Because it’s there.”

The residency comes after the highly publicized 2024 breakup of Jennifer’s marriage to Ben Affleck, which she said forced her to slow down and focus on herself and her family.

“I had stop everything. And I took a year off. I canceled tours. I decided to just be home and sit in what had happened without running away from it. Through work, through another person, through anything. Just sit,” she said.

That process, she said, helped her learn something she once feared — being comfortable on her own.

Asked if she is currently dating anyone, she replied, “No. No, I’m not. God forbid. I don’t want to ruin anything. It’s so nice right now. I’m so happy. It’s the best. I just feel really good right now.”

Thanks to Russell Dickerson’s devoted fanbase, he says picking the latest single from Famous Back Home wasn’t really that hard.  

“It’s kind of a song the fans just kind of spoke for themselves,” he tells ABC Audio. “Like as soon as the album came out, obviously ‘Happen to Me’ was the biggest [according to consumption], but, like, if you look at the numbers behind it, it’s like ‘Worth Your Wild’ was, that was the standout for easy choice.”

Having had success with songs like “Yours” and “God Gave Me a Girl,” Russell has a history of favoring his more romantic tracks. 

“[My wife] Kailey, she’s just like, ‘Bro, we get it, like, the love songs. Everybody knows you love me. Great.’ So I was like, ‘Alright. Fair enough,'” he adds. “So you know, we’ll just keep the pedal down, high energy, up tempo. … I want to play that song every night, you know? I look forward to it.”  

Russell’s Worth Your Wild EP came out March 6, featuring the title track and three new tracks.

The new Judas Priest documentary, The Ballad of Judas Priest, is set to have its Canadian premiere at the 2026 Hot Docs Festival.

The film, co-directed by Sam Dunn and Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, chronicles the band’s five-decade career. It includes interviews with the band and previously unpublished footage from their personal archives. It also boasts appearances from fellow rockers Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Jack Black and others.

The film had its world premiere in February at the Berlin International Film Festival, with Morello, Dunn and Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford in attendance. The first clip of the film was shared on YouTube ahead of the Berlin premiere.

“Heavy metal music is the music that made me love music,” Morello said at a Berlin press conference, “and Judas Priest are culturally really the creators of heavy metal, co-creators of it musically with Black Sabbath. But as far as a cultural force, creating a community that is metal, that is Judas Priest.”

The Hot Docs Festival will be held in Toronto April 23 to May 3. Information on tickets is available online at hotdocs.ca.

Muse has shared a clip of an upcoming new song called “Be with You.”

The snippet shows frontman Matt Bellamy playing an organ in a church as he sings, “It can’t just be with anyone/ it’s got to be with you.”

The clip is now streaming on YouTube.

The most recent Muse album is 2022’s Will of the People, which spawned singles in “Won’t Stand Down,” “Kill or Be Killed,” “Compliance,” “You Make Me Feel Like It’s Halloween” and the title track.

Since then, Muse put out a new song, “Unravelling,” in 2025, along with a docuseries called With You dedicated to the band’s fans. They also hinted at upcoming new music earlier in the week with an image of binary code.

Muse will return to the live stage in July to perform at the Milwaukee Summerfest.

Mike Campbell and The Dirty Knobs are hitting the road this summer.

The Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers guitarist and his band have announced a 10-date tour that will kick off July 7 in Minneapolis. The tour will hit such cities as Chicago, Nashville and Pittsburgh before wrapping July 24 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

An artist presale for tickets begins Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time, with tickets going on sale to the general public Friday at 10 a.m. local time.

In addition to the new summer tour, Mike Campbell and The Dirty Knobs have one other show on their 2026 schedule. They will be a special guest at the Oct. 2 stop of Chris Stapleton’s All American Road Show in Bristow, Virginia.

The band released their most recent album, Vagabonds, Virgins & Misfits, in May 2024.

Chappell Roan has gone viral for a video showing her filming the paparazzi who are harassing her in Paris and accusing them of “disregarding my boundaries.” Now, another pop star known for outrageous outfits and makeup has weighed in: Boy George of ’80s hitmakers Culture Club. On X, he wrote, “It’s probably not helpful but I have been doing this fame thing for a while and you learn slowly and painfully that you don’t get a free pass once you turn yourself into a bird of paradise. … The trick is to own your fame. yes, it’s annoying at times but so is being ignored and told your [sic] a ‘has-been.'” He encourages Chappell not to say no to photo requests, adding, “Boundaries are boring. Break them with the magic of kindness!”

JENNIE is getting in on the “Dracula” trend that she helped start. The BLACKPINK member appears on the remix of “Dracula” by Tame Impala, and TikTok fans have been filming themselves lip-syncing to the verse, “Now I’m Mr. Charisma, f*****’ Pablo Escobar/ My friends are saying, “Shut up, Jennie, just get in the car/I just wanna be right where you are.” JENNIE, in Paris for Fashion Week, posted a video captioned, “Jumping on this trend” and lip-synced to the verse while wearing head-to-toe Chanel.

RAYE’s new album includes guest appearances by a Rock & Roll Hall of Famer — and her grandparents.

She revealed on Instagram the track list for the album, This Music May Contain Hope, which is due out March 27. The album features 17 tracks grouped into “seasons“; winter, spring and summer have four tracks, while autumn has five.

Among the guests on the album: Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and soul music legend Al Green; Oscar-winning film composer Hans Zimmer; and two of RAYE’s sisters, Abby-Lynn Keen and Lauren Keen, who record under the names Absolutely and Amma, respectively.

Another slide on her Instagram reveal features photos of “Who’s Who” in the cast. One photo of an older woman is billed as “Gramma” aka Agatha Dawson-Amoah. That’s RAYE’s grandmother, who utters the words “Your husband is coming” in her hit “Where Is My Husband!” RAYE told People in November that her grandmother is “literally my best friend.”

The track “Fields.” features “Grandad Michael.” RAYE’s grandfather Michael was also a songwriter, and she even brought him onstage with her in 2024 when she won an award.

The last slide of RAYE’s Instagram track list reveal features her holding up a piece of paper that says, “To the mean person who leaked track list you rlly suck (big thumbs down).”

Warped Tour has revealed the full lineup for its 2026 stop in Long Beach, California, taking place July 25-26.

The bill, which has been gradually revealed with new artist announcements every day over the past month, includes All Time Low, Bowling for Soup, Dinosaur Pile-up, Escape the Fate, Flogging Molly, grandson, Gym Class Heroes, Hoobastank, Jimmy Eat World, KennyHoopla, Magnolia Park, Motion City Soundtrack, Papa Roach, Phantom Planet, Plain White T’s, Simple Plan, Sleeping with Sirens, Taking Back Sunday, The Devil Wears Prada, The Paradox, The Used and Underoath.

Metallica has shared a statement thanking fans following the announcement of their Life Burns Faster residency at the high-tech Sphere venue in Las Vegas.

“We are so appreciative and grateful to all of you for the incredible response to our upcoming Life Burns Faster residency at Sphere in Las Vegas,” Metallica writes in an Instagram post. “We are completely and utterly blown away and cannot believe that we will have 24 amazing nights on stage there, all thanks to you and a record-breaking week.”

Metallica originally announced eight dates for the residency beginning in October. The number of shows now sits at 24 and stretches into March 2027.

As for any more Sphere dates, Metallica says, “At this point in time, we will not be adding additional shows, but we are hoping to offer more in the future.”

“In the meantime, we hear you loud and clear that the ticket-buying process was often frustrating and not always smooth,” Metallica says. “We’re working with our partners to improve this experience and offer some remedies for the next time around.”
