Ricky Skaggs’ first new music in a decade arrives June 26 with his new track, “Say a Prayer.” He joins Dierks Bentley on select dates on the Off the Map Summer Tour starting Friday.
The debut album from Redferrin, Been There Done That, drops Friday. It features 13 songs, including “Palm Trees” with Wiz Khalifa.

E-40 has been tapped to deliver a headlining set at Stanford University this summer, when the football team plays against the University of Miami.
The performance inside Stanford Stadium will celebrate Bay Area culture while serving as the 20-year celebration of his My Ghetto Report Card album.
“Performing at halftime to help kick off Stanford’s football season and celebrate My Ghetto Report Card’s anniversary is going to be really special,” E-40 said in a statement. “I’m so thankful to my brother [Stanford Football general manager] Andrew Luck for making this moment possible. We’re gonna shake the stadium up and turn it into a full-blown function that highlights Bay Area music, sports and entertainment in a powerful way.”
Tickets for the Stanford vs. University of Miami game, taking place Sept. 4 at 6 p.m. PT, are now available.

The Beach Boys’ Al Jardine is paying tribute to his late bandmate Brian Wilson on the one-year anniversary of the music legend’s death.
“It’s hard to believe a whole year has already passed since we lost Brian but to be honest, I don’t feel like he’s gone,” Jardine writes in a social media post on Thursday, which included a photo of him and Brian Wilson together. “His music keeps him alive and we certainly feel his presence at every show we do.”
Jardine adds, “We love you Brian and always will.” He then tells him to “say hi to Carl and Dennis,” meaning Brian’s brothers and Beach Boys bandmates Carl Wilson, who died in 1998, and Dennis Wilson, who died in 1983.
Brian Wilson was 82 when he passed.
Brian Wilson’s daughter Carnie Wilson also pays tribute to the Beach Boys legend on social media, writing, “There’s not a day that goes by or maybe even a few hours that go by when I’m not thinking of you and missing you. You know how much I love you. I know you can feel that up there in heaven.”
The post was accompanied by a photo of Brian Wilson onstage with Carnie Wilson and her sister and Wilson Philips bandmate Wendy Wilson.
She adds, “Singing with you was always one of the great gifts that we shared together. I hope you can see this picture from wherever you are. It sure fills my heart.”

There’s a brand-new voice on country radio, and she just happens to be Vincent Mason’s girlfriend.
Stella Lefty is nobody’s arm candy, however, with plenty of country — and pop — cred of her own. Her breakout single, “Boston,” is a top-30 hit on the country chart. It’s an even bigger smash on the all-genre Hot 100, clocking in at #15.
“Seeing people around the world discover ‘Boston’ has been so awesome,” she says. “I made this song with my friends so it only made sense to make this video with my friends as well. I hope people love it as much as we loved making it!”
The 23-year-old L.A.-based singer/songwriter sold out her first headlining tour in a matter of minutes on the strength of the song. She’ll also be opening dates on Tucker Wetmore’s The Brunette Tour in August and September.
Stella’s new EP, Is This Heaven?, features a duet with her significant other on “Something to Lose.”

While it seems every celebrity is cheering on the New York Knicks as they attempt to win their first championship since 1973, one celebrity is bummed that they beat the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night.
Selena Gomez is a Texan and a lifelong Spurs fan. She’s currently filming Only Murders in the Building in London, and as she documented on her Instagram Story, she had to watch Game 4 of the NBA Finals at an ungodly hour.
“3 a.m. London time but can’t miss it lol,” she captioned a photo of the game streaming on a laptop.
Following the Spurs’ last-minute loss, she posted an old photo of herself wearing a Spurs jersey and posing at one of the team’s games. “Happy for NY but my heart breaks just a lil lol,” she wrote. “It’s ok. I’m happy for the teams! Thanks for giving us some great games @nba.”
She then posted another photo of herself getting up for work and looking very tired, labeled, “slept 3 hours.” That was followed by more pictures of herself as a young girl wearing Spurs merch, posing with a cutout of Spurs power forward Tim Duncan and standing next to the team’s trophy case.
Perhaps with those photos Selena was trying to prove her Spurs fan bona fides so as not to find herself in the same situation that her BFF Taylor Swift did Wednesday night. One of the announcers at the game was caught on a hot mic saying, “She’s not a Knicks fan, get out of here, girl,” after spotting Taylor at Madison Square Garden.
In fact, Taylor is a Knicks fan and fans responded by posting photos of her attending games over the years.

This summer’s Totally Tubular festival has made some changes to the lineup.
The music fest, celebrating the music of the ’80s, has announced that The Motels will no longer be on the bill, in order to give lead singer Martha Davies time to heal from a recent medical procedure.
“It breaks my heart to have to cancel The Motels part in the Totally Tubular tour this summer,” says Davies. “The band and I were looking forward to it big time! But the doctors have some unfinished business with me, so I must comply.”
“But don’t worry, ‘I’ll be back!'” she adds. “I love you all. It will be a great show, so go, have fun, and I’ll meet up with you later.”
In place of The Motels, Totally Tubular has added two acts: Bow Wow Wow, best known for the 1982 hit “I Want Candy,” and Men Without Hats, who hit it big with 1982’s “The Safety Dance.” Bow Wow Wow will perform on the tour’s July dates, with Men Without Hats booked for the August shows.
Totally Tubular Festival returns for a third year starting July 17 in Phoenix, with dates running through Aug. 16 in Aurora, Illinois. The lineup also features Thomas Dolby & The Lost Toy People, A Flock Of Seagulls, Animotion, The Escape Club, Tommy Tutone and The Producers.

The three recently got together at Nashville’s Urban Cowboy Bar.
“This never happened, because we were always on tour with the guys,” Reba points out. “We’ve only started doing more of the girl hangout stuff in the last five years. Man, what I would have given to have that.”
It’s a sentiment Miranda can relate to.
“There wasn’t really a sisterhood because there wasn’t,” she adds. “We were all out with, on the road with men, and they were great, like Dierks [Bentley] was my brother back then. … That’s why even when I first met you, [Reba], and you were so kind, I felt like I’d known you my whole life. That was the first kind of taste of that that I got. … It feels good to have a sisterhood like this.”
Even though Ella’s finding unprecedented success these days, she recognizes the challenges and believes in helping each other.
“I think, you know, sometimes being a woman is a little tougher to … crawl up the chain,” Ella adds. ”But when we all do it together, you know what I mean? [We’re a] lot more powerful in numbers.”

Jazmine Sullivan teamed up with Philadelphia High School For Creative & Performing Arts for a magical prom transformation, gifting a custom prom gown to a student named Raigen and a tuxedo to her date.
In a video posted on social media, Jazmine returned to her alma mater to surprise students with the announcement.
“What’s up, CAPA?” she asks. “I want to give away a free prom dress.”
Jazmine explained that her good friend Marquette, known as designer Tyron Perrin on Instagram, would create the custom look, adding, “We’re gonna give a student a moment to remember.”
The clip then follows Raigen as she’s fitted for a pink strapless gown and as Jazmine, along with Raigen’s family and friends, attended the prom send-off to celebrate Raigen.
“Every young person deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and special which is why I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to partner with my alma mater, @capaphilly , & @marquette21 to gift a prom gown & tux to one lucky winner,” Jazmine wrote on Instagram, along with footage of the preparation.
“Raigen, you looked beeautiful sweetie. I hope you felt that way too!” she continued. “#TheBaddest Thank you for helping me go back in time and be a part of your special day.”
She also thanked Marquette and “all of the participants, CAPA staff, and everyone who helped make this happen,” before signing off, “I love you Philly.”

Grateful Dead is offering up another preview of their upcoming live album, Fillmore Auditorium, San Francisco, CA (7/3/66).
The band has just released a performance of the track “Viola Lee Blues,” from The Dead’s 1967 self-titled debut album. This is the second song they’ve released from the Fillmore concert, following “Cold Rain and Snow.”
“The Grateful Dead’s first big jamming vehicle, ‘Viola Lee Blues’ is heard here in one of its first live performances,” says Dead archivist David Lemieux. “The song only stuck around from 1966 to 1970, but it always hit several intensely psychedelic peaks, as you’ll hear here.”
Fillmore Auditorium, San Francisco, CA (7/3/66) will be released digitally and as a two-CD set on July 3, on the 60th anniversary of the concert, which took place seven months after the band changed their name from the Warlocks. It will also be released as a three-LP set, its first time ever on vinyl, limited to 6,600 copies. The vinyl release is available exclusively at Dead.net.
The Fillmore performance was part of legendary promoter Bill Graham’s Independence Ball, with the band at the time made up of Jerry Garcia, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh, Ron “Pigpen” McKernan and Bob Weir.
The concert was previously available in 2015 as part of the 50th anniversary boxed set, 30 Trips Around the Sun.

Bonnaroo has announced the schedule for its 2026 festival livestream, which will air on Hulu and Disney+.
You’ll be able to watch sets by Turnstile, Yungblud, The Strokes, Wet Leg and Geese on Friday; Alabama Shakes, The Neighbourhood, Passion Pit and Rainbow Kitten Surprise on Saturday; and Noah Kahan, Role Model and Modest Mouse on Sunday.
