The Flaming Lips have announces a U.S. tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of the band’s 2003 album, Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots.
The headlining outing begins May 8 in Charlotte and concludes August 25 in Bonner, Montana. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 3, at 10 a.m. local time.

The Flaming Lips had previously announced several one-off concerts for the Yoshimi anniversary, including dates in Chicago, Washington, D.C. and London. They’ll also be playing Yoshimi shows at a number of festivals, including Shaky Knees.
Last fall, The Flaming Lips released a CD and digital reissue of Yoshimi featuring a variety of live recordings, demos, remixes and other rarities, much of which was previously unreleased. The collection will be available on vinyl April 14.
