Saint Asonia guitarist Mike Mushok won’t be joining the band on the upcoming Rock Resurrection tour with Skillet and Theory of a Deadman.
In a tweet, the “Better Place” rockers write that Mushok’s absence is due to “extenuating circumstances.”
The statement continues, “He will be missed, but the rest of us have enlisted friend and highly talented guitarist Tavis Stanley (Adelitas Way/Art of Dying) to take on Mike’s parts.”
The tour begins February 17 in Gary, Indiana, and concludes March 26 in Los Angeles.
Mushok, of course, also plays guitar in Staind. He and ex-Three Days Grace frontman Adam Gontier formed Saint Asonia in 2015.
