Yeah Yeah Yeahs have announced a U.S. tour in support of the band’s new album, Cool It Down.
The headlining outing begins May 3 in Washington, D.C., and will wrap up June 10 in Berkeley, California. Perfume Genius, who’s featured on the Cool It Down single “Spitting Off the Edge of the World,” will open select dates.

Along with the tour news, Karen O and company have premiered the video for the Cool It Down song “Blacktop,” which you can watch now streaming on YouTube.
Cool It Down, the first YYYs album in nine years, was released last September. It was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at this year’s Grammys, while “Spitting Off the Edge of the World” was nominated for Best Alternative Music Performance.
