After months of mysterious newspaper notices, cryptic websites and a claymation video, we finally have a date for new Fall Out Boy music.
The “Sugar, We’re Goin Down” rockers have revealed that a single titled “Love from the Other Side” will drop next Wednesday, January 18.
You can listen to a brief preview of the track, which mentions an “apocalypse” and a “little dagger,” now via Fall Out Boy’s Twitter.
“Love from the Other Side” will presumably be the lead single off Fall Out Boy’s upcoming eighth album, the follow-up to 2018’s M A N I A, which the group first teased last November in a Chicago Tribune ad.
The album’s promotional campaign has also apparently included sending seashells to various people, one of which went to Bring Me the Horizon frontman Oli Sykes. In his Instagram Story, Sykes shared a photo of the seashell and a letter from Fall Out Boy alongside the caption, “WTF is this & why is at my house.”
