Pharrell Williams’ non-profit Black Ambition will announce its second annual Black Ambition prize winners at the three-day Mighty Dream Forum in Norfolk, Virginia, kicking off November 1.

The company will award approximately $2.5 million to 31 Black and Latinx entrepreneurs, with the Black Ambition grand prize winner receiving $1 million in funding and the Black Ambition HBCU grand prize winner receiving $250,000.

“We can’t wait to show some of the top business leaders of the world our prize winners and founders and how hard they have worked to bring their ideas and dreams to life,” Pharrell says in a statement.

He adds, “By investing in our Black and Latinx entrepreneurs, we are laying the foundation for more incredible people to have access to the resources they need to change the world.”
