Tyler, The Creator‘s album Chromakopia has earned streams for itself and songs from Tyler’s past. Billboard reports the album landed in the top 10 on Monday’s charts for Spotify and Apple Music, each garnering millions of streams.
But it also had an impact before it even came out. After announcing Chromakopia and releasing its lead single, “Noid,” Tyler’s previous catalog earned 32.1 million streams from Oct. 21 to Oct. 23 — a 29% increase from the 25 million streams he’d had the week prior (Oct. 18-20).
Chromakopia dropped Monday at 6 a.m., an unconventional date and time in an industry used to releasing music on Thursday at midnight. It features Daniel Caesar, Teezo Touchdown, Sexyy Red, GloRilla, Lil Wayne and more.
He’ll be supporting the album with a tour, for which he’s just added 13 dates. Tickets and more information about the trek can be found on chromakopiatour.com.
