Snow Patrol is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their third album, Final Straw, with a very special reissue.

The 20th anniversary edition will be released digitally March 31 and will include a previously unreleased demo of the hit single “Chocolate,” which they’ve just released for fans. It will also feature 23 additional tracks, made up of demos and B-sides, and the previously commercially unreleased tune “Tired.” In addition, the digital release will include live tracks from the band’s concert at London’s Somerset House, which took place in August 2004.

Then on August 4, the actual anniversary of the album’s release, a special double vinyl edition of Final Straw will drop, containing all the goodies from the digital release, with the exception of the live tracks.

“I still have days where I don’t believe much of the last 20 years,” Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody shares in the new release’s liner notes. “In the back of my mind, I’m still waiting for the tap on the shoulder and someone saying, ‘you’re not supposed to be here.’” He adds, “In a lot of ways, it’s a gift we were given. We’ve never taken any of what happened after the release of this album for granted.”

The 20th anniversary edition of Final Straw on vinyl is available for preorder now.
