Parlophone/Warner Records

Gorillaz has premiered the video for “Silent Running,” a track off the band’s upcoming album, Cracker Island.

The clip, which mixes live action and animation, finds the virtual group trying to save their singer 2D from being sacrificed to a giant monster in some sort of evil ritual. You can watch it now streaming on YouTube.

The song “Silent Running” was released in January and features guest vocals from Adeleye Omotayo, who often performs with Gorillaz live.

Cracker Island, the follow-up to 2020’s Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez, arrives February 24. It also includes the previously released songs “New Gold” feat. Tame Impala and Bootie Brown, “Baby Queen,” “Skinny Ape” and the Thundercat-featuring title track.

Other guests on the album include Beck, Stevie Nicks and Bad Bunny.
