Lana Del Rey will be honored at the 2023 Billboard Women in Music Awards.
The “Summertime Sadness” artist is set to receive the Visionary Award. In a statement, Billboard editorial director Hannah Karp refers to Del Rey and her fellow honorees as “groundbreaking artists across genres and generations who are defining today’s sound — and paving the way for tomorrow’s women in music.”
Other artists who will be recognized include Becky G, Doechii, Ivy Queen, Kim Petras, Latto, Lainey Wilson and TWICE. Quinta Brunson, creator and star of ABC’s Abbott Elementary, will host.
The 2023 Billboard Women in Music Awards will take place March 1 in Los Angeles and will stream live online. For more info, visit BillboardWomeninMusic.com.
Del Rey, meanwhile, is preparing to release a new album, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, on March 24.
