HAIM has shared a post paying tribute to Christine McVie, calling the late Fleetwood Mac member a “constant inspiration.”

“We write this with tears in our eyes and all over our faces,” the sister trio writes in an Instagram post. “The sisterhood Stevie [Nicks] and Christine had was so vital to us growing up.”

“Seeing two strong women support each other in our favorite band has had such a huge impact on us throughout our lives,” the post continues. “RIP beautiful songbird.”

McVie passed away Wednesday at age 79. In posting about the news, Nicks shared the lyrics to the HAIM song “Hallelujah,” which she said had been “swirling around in my head” since learning that McVie was sick last Saturday.

Paramore‘s Hayley Williams also shared a tribute to McVie, writing in her Instagram Story, “I love you Christine McVie. My favorite writer in one of the best bands of all time.”
