Nightwish vocalist Floor Jansen has been declared “cancer free.”

The 41-year-old musician announced in late October that she’d been diagnosed with breast cancer. At the time, Jansen shared that her “prognosis is very good” and later underwent surgery to remove the tumor, which she said “went well.”

In a series of tweets Friday, Jansen reveals, “Great news! I am cancer free.”

“The surgery took everything cancerous out and it hasn’t spread!” she writes. “I’ll get local radiation therapy in February to make sure everything stays out. I’m getting my energy back after the surgery and feel a huge relief to know it was successful!”

Jansen’s news comes just as Nightwish prepares to launch a European tour this Sunday.

“I’m not back to a 100% but I have no doubt the shows will give me the power push I need to rock with all of you on the upcoming European tour,” Jansen says.

She adds, “Thank you for your amazing support and well wishes.”
