Death Cab for Cutie has released another new song off their upcoming album Asphalt Meadows, but you’ll need to leave your house to listen to it.

The track, titled “Rand McNally,” can only be unlocked by bringing your phone to one of the over 800 global locations where Death Cab has played live. You can also head to one of the venues the group is scheduled to play on their upcoming fall headlining tour.

Once you arrive, you’ll be able to hear “Rand McNally” ahead of the official Asphalt Meadows release on September 16.

“‘Rand’ was written for everyone we toured with back in the day, for everyone who let us sleep on their floor, and for past bandmates,” says frontman Benjamin Gibbard. “I felt after all these years that they deserved their own folk song. But also a promise to keep going and keep creating.”

Asphalt Meadows is the milestone 10th Death Cab album and the follow-up to 2018’s Thank You for Today. It also includes the previously released songs “Here to Forever,” “Roman Candles” and “Foxglove Through the Clearcut.”

Death Cab will celebrate the arrival of Asphalt Meadows with an acoustic streaming performance, premiering September 12 at 5 p.m. ET.
