Trisha Yearwood‘s love for animals shines through in her #EveryDogCampaign.
In honor of National Pet Day, the country legend is launching the campaign through the Trisha Yearwood Pet Collection as a way to bring awareness to shelter pets. The singer is partnering with animal shelters across the country to showcase one dog each week who is available for adoption via social media.
The shelters chosen all align with the mission of Trisha’s nonprofit, Dottie’s Yard Fund, named after her and husband Garth Brooks‘ beloved dog, Dottie, who passed away in 2016 at the age of 14.
“I’m so excited because I think this is just the very beginning of what we can do, and this was my dream all along for the whole pet line,” Trisha says. “You want to rescue every dog. That’s our goal. We’re going to work on it!”
