We have our first look at The Love Hypothesis.

Prime Video has released a brand-new trailer teasing its upcoming young adult TV and film slate for the rest of 2026. Through this new initiative, called Obsession is in Session, the streamer has marked a commitment to being the leading destination for YA audiences.

Along with the upcoming film The Love Hypothesis, the almost two-minute sizzle reel shows off first looks at Off Campus, Every Year After, Elle, Sterling Point, The Last Sunrise, The Devil’s Mouth, Maxton Hall season 3, Drawn Together (Marfil), Your Fault: London, Perfectos Mentirosos and Clashing Through the Snow.

This marks the first footage shared from The Love Hypothesis, a highly anticipated rom-com based on The New York Times bestselling book by Ali Hazelwood.

Its story follows a fake relationship between biology PhD candidate Olive Smith and hotshot professor Dr. Adam Carlsen. Through their time together, “each of their carefully calculated theories on love are thrown into chaos,” according to an official description from Amazon MGM Studios.

The footage features Lili Reinhart as Olive and Tom Bateman as Dr. Adam Carlsen out to dinner together.

“This is electric,” Reinhart’s Olive says.

Hazelwood is executive producing the film. Set it Up director Claire Scanlon helmed it from a script by Sarah Rothschild.

Also heavily featured in the sizzle reel is footage from Elle, the Legally Blonde prequel series, as well as The Summer I Turned Pretty stars Christopher Briney and Gavin Casalegno in their newest Prime Video projects — films called Clashing Through the Snow and The Devil’s Mouth.

A New York City-based stylist says she believes she’s the real-life inspiration behind the character Emily Charlton from the popular book The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger.

The character was played by Emily Blunt in the 2006 film of the same name, the predecessor to the forthcoming sequel, which also stars Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.

Leslie Fremar, an assistant at Vogue in the 1990s, appeared on a recent episode of The Run-Through with Vogue podcast. She shared with host Chloe Malle — Vogue‘s current head of editorial content — how she learned of the character and Weisberger’s 2004 book.

“I get a call from Anna [Wintour’s] office saying that she wanted to see me. I was petrified, but she said, ‘Who’s Lauren Weisberger?’ And I said, ‘She was your junior assistant,’ and she’s like, ‘Well, she wrote a book about us, and you’re worse than me,'” Fremar recalled.

“I definitely told her a million girls would kill for the job,” she added.

Streep portrayed the fictional Runway magazine editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly in the original film, a character widely believed to be inspired by former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Hathaway played Miranda’s second assistant, Andrea Sachs, and Blunt played Miranda’s first assistant, Emily Charlton.

A sequel, called The Devil Wears Prada 2, is set to be released in theaters on May 1.

Fremar said after she learned about the book and what Weisberger had written, she felt “betrayed,” but never spoke to Weisberger again after their time as co-workers ended.

“There’s nothing to be said,” Fremar added of what she might say if the two ever meet again.

ABC News has reached out to Weisberger through her publisher, Random House, for comment.

Disney is the parent company of ABC News and 20th Century Studios.

Claire Danes has found her next project with Netflix.

She’ll star in the new drama Lovesick, which has received a straight-to-series order from the streaming service. The series follows Danes’ Annika, a breast cancer surgeon who unexpectedly deals with her own diagnosis. Her life becomes intertwined with a new patient, a promising politician named Nate.

Lovesick was created, written and executive produced by The Affair’s Sarah Treem. She tells Tudum the story deals with themes of “life, death, children, love, middle age, courage, science and faith.”

“I’m thrilled to get to tell this story with the genius Claire Danes,” Treem says. “We’ve been looking for something to do together for a very long time, and this character, Annika, is perhaps a mix of both of our wildest dreams.”

Danes is the only cast member who has been confirmed so far. She’ll also executive produce. A release date has yet to be announced.

Danes previously starred opposite Matthew Rhys in the Netflix miniseries The Beast in Me.

The official trailer for One Night Only has arrived.

Universal Pictures has released the new trailer for the upcoming romantic comedy, which stars Monica Barbaro and Callum Turner.

The film follows what happens between two single people named Allie and Owen in a world where people not in relationships are only allowed to have sex one night of the year.

“Recently dumped Owen and hopeful romantic Allie might be the only two singles in the city looking for more than just a quick encounter. They both feel a spark when they meet, but a series of missteps and side quests complicate their night, keeping them apart,” according to an official synopsis. “As they each race toward and away from each other across the city, they just might discover that the one thing they want most is closer than they think.”

The trailer starts with Allie and Owen out on a date together at a pizza restaurant.

“Finding love is hard enough,” Owen says. “Try doing it on the one night a year single people are legally allowed to have sex.”

Anyone but You and Easy A director Will Gluck helmed the film, co-wrote it and produced it based on a script by Travis Braun.

The rest of the movie’s cast includes Maya Hawke, Julia Fox, King Princess, Ben Marshall, Ziwe, Molly Ringwald and LeVar Burton.

Don’t cry for her, New York.

The recent West End revival of Evita, starring Rachel Zegler, is transferring to Broadway. This production will arrive to The Great White Way in spring 2027.

Director Jamie Loyd is at the helm of this production of the musical written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.

“Performing Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s brilliant show in London was a dream come true, but being able to partner once again with Jamie to bring  Evita  to Broadway is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I can’t wait to perform for my home, New York City,” Zegler said in a press release.

Lloyd said he was “completely overwhelmed by the incredible response” to the show’s London run. He teased that the Broadway production will have some differences.

“It is an honor to work with Tim and Andrew, and I’m looking forward to revisiting the production with Rachel, whose stellar performance continues to inspire me,” Lloyd said. “When we started discussing a New York production, it became apparent that our Palladium staging of ‘Don’t Cry For Me Argentina’ would not be possible. I am really excited to explore a new idea, made especially for Broadway.”

Webber said he’s “delighted to see” the production arrive in New York.

“It is so exciting to see Tim and my work reimagined in new ways, and the show has a generational talent in Rachel Zegler. I can’t wait for American audiences to experience a production which took the West End by storm,” Webber said.

Zegler won an Olivier Award for her performance as Eva Perón. The musical tells the story of Perón’s life, starting with her origins, and leading up to her political career and death.

Jurassic Park star Sam Neill is opening up about his battle with Stage 3 blood cancer.

The actor said he is now cancer free after a near five-year battle with lymphoma. He recently told the Australian network 7News about his treatment.

“I’ve been living with a particular type of lymphoma for about five years, and I was on chemotherapy and the pretty miserable business but it was keeping me alive,” Neill said.

The actor, who played Alan Grant in the Jurassic Park franchise, said chemotherapy eventually stopped working for him.

“I was at a loss and it looked like I was on the way out, which wasn’t ideal obviously,” Neill said.

He then underwent a cutting edge treatment called CAR T-cell therapy, which genetically modifies blood cells. Neill said this has made him cancer free.

“I’ve just had a scan just now and there is no cancer in my body, that’s an extraordinary thing,” Neill said. “I’m very, very excited that this can happen.”

Neill is even ready to make his return to acting.

“It’s time I did another movie,” he said.

Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 has been renewed for season 2.

Netflix has renewed the animated Stranger Things TV series for a second season just one week after the first season premiered on April 23. Season 1 landed at #7 on the weekly Netflix English TV list, having brought in 2.8 million views in its opening weekend.

This new series brought audiences back to Hawkins, Indiana, during the winter of 1985.

“Our heroes Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Max have settled back into a normal life of D&D, snowball fights, and quiet days. But beneath the ice, something terrifying has awakened,” its official synopsis reads. “Our heroes must race to solve this mystery and save Hawkins in this untold story set in the Stranger Things universe.”

Brooklyn Davey Norstedt voices Eleven, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport voices Max, Luca Diaz voices Mike, Elisha “EJ” Williams voices Lucas, Braxton Quinney voices Dustin, Ben Plessala voices Will and Brett Gipson voices Hopper.

Stranger Things creators Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer serve as executive producers on the show, as do Hilary Leavitt, Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen. Eric Robles is its showrunner and executive producer.

“Working on season 1 has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Now that it’s out in the world, seeing fans connect with these characters—whether they’ve loved them for years or are just meeting them for the first time—has been truly special,” Robles said in a press release.

As for what fans can expect in season 2, Robles said, “The Hawkins Investigators Club is back, and a new paranormal threat has emerged from the town’s abandoned silver mines. I can’t wait for fans to discover where this entity and the mysterious blue flower we last saw blooming in the Upside Down at the end of season 1 take our young heroes.”
